From Farm to Fork Blog, Vol 2, Issue 5

Dear Friends of the Farm!

Earthworks Farm is transforming, moving into another year of exciting and organic farm programming!

The Farm offers farm-fresh produce Tuesday through Saturday from 8am – 1pm. This means that you can walk onto the Farm, fill out a request for farm-fresh produce, and the farmer will go out into the field to gather your produce. While you wait, you may inquire about more opportunities that are available to you, like workshops in organic farming, soil health, composting, or seeding and planting!

We need your help! Volunteers are the heart of any urban farm. Your dedication to this farm is greatly appreciated.

You make a difference within the community by giving us a helping hand. Everyday, there is a different need that a living space, like a farm, requires. Today, it might be mulching trees, and tomorrow, it might be weeding a garden bed. Our farmers will guide you, and train you how to accomplish various chores in organic farming.

Because of your consistent support throughout this entire year, produce from the farm has been made available to many families in need. Thank you so very much for volunteering with us, and supporting the farm all year round.

The cool season has arrived, and during those months of winter we tend to pay attention to our trees, rotate fields, transplant green, leafy vegetables, like cabbage, broccoli, kale, chard, and seed root veggies for hearty dishes.

Please visit our website at for more information. Our calendar will be full of new and exciting workshops in organic farming, tree care, and garden maintenance.

We would like to thank you for all your support during this past year. We thank our wonderful community partners, and all our friends of the farm! Your hard work has made a mark on our farm.

We hope to see you soon and have a wonderful Holiday Season!

Announcement will be posted by January 2016, see website calendar. Come and visit the farm!

Happy Farming,
Your Farm Team
